The Malaysian women have ended their campaign at the 2018 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup as the wooden-spoonist. Going up against top cricketing nations, the team were battered by their opponents in all their five games in the competition. Earlier today, the team lost by 70 runs to Bangladesh at the Royal Selangor Club here. Former Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) president Tunku Imran Tuanku Jaafar had indicated that Malaysia were capable of hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
